Thomas Reed visits Aprovecho

Yesterday I visited Aprovecho, a research center in Cottage Grove, Oregon.  Aprovecho was established in 1976, and has been dedicated to designing improved biomass cooking and heating technologies in over 60 countries. This is an extremely important implement, as traditional cooking fires are the primary source of the acceleration of glacial melting, as well as an extreme contributor to pollution.  You can read more about Aprovecho here: http://www.aprovecho.org/lab/index.php
